80,000 throng Malaysian Family Aspiration Tour

KUCHING: More than 80,000 visitors have thronged the three-day state-level Malaysian Family Aspiration Tour 2022 held at Dataran Perayaan, Petra Jaya which concluded today.

Senior Works Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof said indeed the event has attracted many people besides receiving an overwhelming response.

“I was informed that we have reached the target of more than 80,000 visitors who come to the event.

“The good support from Sarawakians towards the Malaysian Family Aspiration Tour shows the appreciation of the Malaysian Family which values inclusivity, togetherness and contentment,” he said.

He told reporters this when met after attending the closing ceremony of the state-level Malaysian Family Aspiration Tour 2022 at Dataran Perayaan, Petra Jaya here today.

“Therefore, I hope the people will continue to live a peaceful and prosperous life towards building a better, peaceful, prosperous state and country as a whole,” he said.

Meanwhile, Sarawak has been chosen as the seventh destination for the state-level Malaysian Family Aspiration Tour 2022.

The event started on Aug 5 and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob officiated at the closing of the event on Aug 7.

Before this, Malaysian Family Aspiration Tour 2022 was also held in the states of Johor, Perlis, Sabah, Trengganu, Perak and Kelantan.

The Malaysian Family Aspiration Tour is inspired by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

It is a continuation of  the 100-Day Malaysian Family Aspiration Tour programme at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) from Dec 9 to 12 last year.
