KUCHING: The Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) in Batu Kawa has organised seven campaigns resulting in over 900 MyGaz yellow gas tanks being replaced by Petroleum Sarawak Berhad’s (PETROS) red gas tanks across various locations here.

The campaigns, led by JKKK in Batu Kawa including RPR Batu Kawa, Batu Kawa, Stapok, and in collaboration with Petros and PETROS liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) BCS agents, have garnered positive response, with attendees including residents from outside Batu Kawa.

There is no deadline set by the government for gas tank replacements, providing relief for those who haven’t exchanged their tanks yet.

For those who missed the exchange programme, PETROS distribution agent will cover areas such as 3rd Mile, 4th Mile, King Centre, Hui Sing, Batu Kawa, Batu Lintang, and Kenyalang.
