SIBU: Food supply continues to be distributed to the residents of flats and housing areas in Town Villa, Sibu Jaya after the enforcement of the enhanced movement control order (EMCO).

Social Welfare Office Sibu said the food assistance was distributed in stages since last week with the help of the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM), police, the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MoH) and other frontline personnel.

On Tuesday, a food supply was distributed to houses in Town Villa Parcel B and the Sibu Jaya flats.

“The distribution of food supplies to all residents in the Town Villa area in Parcel A and Parcel C is scheduled today and Friday from 9.30 am,” said the spokesman.

He requested only the head of the family or representative from each house go out to take the supplies at a checkpoint which would be determined later.

“The head of the family or the representative is required to bring along his or her identity card while taking the assistance,” said the spokesman.
