MIRI: Two districts in Miri division, Telang Usan and Marudi, have turned green after no case was reported there in the last 14 days.

Meanwhile, three other districts — Miri, Subis and Beluru — in the division are still red.

This was said by the minister in charge of Miri Division Disaster Management Committee (MDDMC) Datuk Lee Kim Shin yesterday.

Telang Usan was declared a green zone on May 10 while Marudi was declared green on May 17.

On the Covid-19 positive cases reported in Long Jegan, Lee said 206 close contacts had been transported to Miri for swab tests and quarantined at designated centres.

He added two longhouses and a primary school in Subis and Beluru were still under movement restrictions. They are Rumah Libau, Rumah Genatan and SK Long Jegan.

The movement restrictions at 11 other longhouses, namely Rumah Bukin Nyalu; Rumah Danggang Tubai; Rumah Agnes Ngarega; Rumah Suring Jelian; Rumah Embuas Kanda; Rumah Douglas Bungan; Rumah Alias Bon; Rumah Friday Aji; Rumah Merikan Lobang Komp; Rumah Fredy Randi; and Rumah Kiam Ujai, have been lifted.
