SIBU: Two men were arrested after wreaking havoc with a folding knife, which left three individuals injured.

Sibu police chief ACP Zulkipli Suhaili said the local men, aged 20 and 23, were detained after a police report was lodged by the three victims.

“At about 4.45 pm on Nov 9, the police received a report from three local men in their 30s.

“They claimed they were attacked by the suspects using a folding knife in Jalan Tunku Osman,” he said in a statement yesterday (Nov 12).

Zulkipli said the victims suffered injuries to the head, right rib and index finger after being stabbed by the two suspects.

“Two of the victims are still receiving treatment at Sibu Hospital while another victim received outpatient treatment,” he added.

Both suspects have been remanded for seven days until Nov 17.
