It’s morning but the sunshine is gone
A storm is brewing on the outside
And the western sea has darkened
It reminds me of an angry face
Coming from the inside

I am cooped up inside
I am in the middle of the storm
My mind is beginning to dull
It’s hard to think when you are
When you are inside a storm

But the storm that is brewing inside
Is picking momentum
I need to ride through this storm
It’s the bigger storm
And much tougher to handle

The storm outside will soon pass,
For every storm will run out of power
Just like the dark night is always followed
Faithfully by the joy of the morning
When peace and calm prevail

But today, the morning is for certain
And will be too soon overtaken
By the storm brewing outside
It has got the upper hand
But only for a moment, for it too will pass

There is a time for everything
For now, riding this internal storm I must
I have to look for that calm seas
Even as the storm is raging strong
To release all the pent up energy

Hope is the life line that I need
Faith, the life vest I must cling on to
I’ll ride this storm that’s having a field day
Even if I am in the eye of it
For there can be no other way
