KUCHING: A baby lizard that barged into the kitchen of a residence in Jalan Bayu near here alarmed the residents.
According to Sri Aman District Civil Defence Officer Siti Huzaimah Ibrahim, the resident known as Voon was going to the kitchen when the incident happened.
“Residents who were surprised by the presence of the creature involved immediately contacted the Malaysian Civil Defeat Force (APM) Sri Aman,” she said in a statement today.
She explained that a lizard the size of a mineral bottle was found under the cooking gas barrel when he was about to go to the kitchen.
Huzaimah advised the public to immediately contact the Sri Aman District Operations Control Centre (PKOD) open for 24 hours at 083-320973 for any emergency.
