KUCHING: The chairman of the Joint Management Body of MetroCity Square, Dr. Mohd Afiq Aizuddin Sarun revealed they plan to build a surau in the vicinity in response to numerous requests from residents.
He cited that such facilities can be a medium to foster unity, cooperation and camaraderie in addition to improving the quality of life for the residents in MetroCity.
He said this during the Majlis Ramah Tamah Aidilfitri MetroCity held at the MetroCity Square yesterday, where about 300 people flocked to the event. Attendees were treated with varieties of food dishes, karaoke and lucky draws.
