Abang Abdillah joins Berjaya Land board

KUCHING: Abang Abdillah Izzarim Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari has been appointed as an independent and non-executive director at Berjaya Land Bhd (BLand).

The Edge Malaysia reported that BLand has appointed Abang Abdillah to the post effective Aug 10.

Earlier in June, he took on the role of executive chairman of Sarawak Consolidated Industries Bhd, a civil engineering company.

The Edge Malaysia also reported BLand in a Bursa filling stating Abang Abdillah is also the chairman of Sarawak-based telecommunications company Irix Sdn Bhd (formerly known as PP Telecommunication Sdn Bhd) where he “exerts his influential leadership to steer the company towards success”.

It further said Abang Abdillah’s entrepreneurial journey began with Aerotrain Charter, a company specialising in aviation cargo operations.

“However, his lifelong passion with technology, digital animation, software development, and PC gaming inspired him to establish a successful animation PC games development business,” it said.
