Abang Johari receives two courtesy calls

KUCHING: The Orang Ulu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OUCCI) paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg.

The delegation was led by OUCCI president Datuk Mutang Tagal and took place at Abang Johari’s office at Wisma Bapa Malaysia here.

During the visit, the members extended an invitation to the chief minister to officiate at the launch of OUCCI which will be held here next month.

Also present were State Legislative Assembly (DUN) Deputy Speaker Datuk Gerawat Gala, Belaga assemblyman Datuk Liwan Lagang, and OUCCI committee members.

Meanwhile, the chief minister also received another courtesy call from the new state Education Department director Dr Norisah Suhaili, who officially reported for duty on Dec 28 last year.

Previously, she also served as the principal of several schools in Kuching and Johor.
