THE Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development Ministry will continue with its youth, entrepreneurial and sports programmes.

Its Minister Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah assured this when alluding to issues, proposals and suggestions forwarded by concerned local representatives in relation to youth, sports and entrepreneurs programmes and sport facilities such as sports complexes and youth centres.

“I would like to thank Tellian, Lingga, Katibas, Pujut, Stakan, Balingian, Meluan, Kabong and Simunjan assemblymen for raising the issues faced and concerns of youth, and sports programmes and development.

“My ministry will look into the needs to build, upgrade and improve the existing sport facilities, and youth centres throughout the state.

“We will propose to include refurbishments of those sport facilities in the Mid-Term Review under the 12th Malaysia Plan,” said Abdul Karim when delivering his ministerial winding-up speech today.

In addition, he said his ministry would take necessary steps and actions to study the proposals and whichever were deemed necessary and feasible to be incorporated in future plans according to their respective merits and priorities.
