MUKAH: A total of 32 Mukah Divisional Health Office members carried out an active case detection (ACD) and swab tests at Mukah Wet Market yesterday (July 6).
The ACD was carried out following the recent surge in Covid-19 positive cases involving traders in the market.
A total of 132 vendors were screened during the ACD, which started began on Monday (July 5).
Mukah Division health officer Dr Huzaimah Husin, who was contacted by the Information Department Sarawak (JaPen) Mukah district, said 115 of the 132 people had undergone the reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction swab test.
