KUCHING: Active case detection on nearly 3,000 individuals of close and casual contacts of Covid-19 positive persons at Taman Desa Ilmu and Taman Unigarden in Samarahan began yesterday.

According to Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba, the modus operandi would be door-to-door and would go on until April 30.

“The operation is considered a targeted movement control order (MCO) as it targets the close and casual contacts of Covid-19 positive cases,” he said in a press conference at Sarawak Heart Centre on Sunday.
