MUKAH: Malaysian actress Nabila Huda created quite a stir among locals here during her recent visit to this fishing township.

The famous actress and daughter of renowned singer Amy Search visited the Melanau Traditional Museum, Lamin Dana and Jerunei’s historic monument located in Kampung Tellian Mukah.

Nabila attracted many of her local fans as she took the opportunity to see the Mukah wet market that sells a variety of fresh fish and tasted the traditional umai (Melanau raw fish dish) food along with sago.

She also took a boat ride down the Kampung Tellian River and had a great time with the friendly locals.

According to her Instagram social page, Nabila previously visited a longhouse located in Sibu and was also in Kuching for several days in conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year 2020.

It is understood that her presence in Sarawak was at the invitation of the Sarawak Tourism Board whose crew members accompanied her during her trip.
