KUALA LUMPUR: AirAsia Group Bhd’s is bringing its money app, BigPay, to Thailand as it has incorporated Big Pay (Thailand) Ltd via an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, Singapore-based Big Pay Pte Ltd.
“The purpose of the Incorporation is to provide financial services in Thailand, including but not limited to e-money products,” said AirAsia in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.
The incorporation would not have any effect on AirAsia’s share capital and substantial shareholders’ shareholding and was not expected to have any material effect on the earnings per share, net assets per share, as well as, the gearing of the company for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2019. – Bernama
