SARIKEI: People in Sarikei always feel grateful for the assistance and donation given by Repok Assemblyman Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii.
He has been known to give donations in cash and kind to the constituents and organisations in need in his constituency, said a constituent who preferred anonymity.
On Wednesday (June 5) the people’s representative also allocated RM20,000 each to two temples, namely
Song Zhi Nian Nian Temple and Ka Tzen Wan Temple under the Rural Transformation Project (RTP) funds 2019.
“We are grateful to have people’s representative who is always concerned for the well-being of the people, and delivered assistance for those in need,” said a temple spokesperson.
Huang said religious beliefs guide people into the right direction and he would try to apply for more allocations for religious development.
