KUCHING: An individual is making waves on social media after an unintentional mix-up in which he mistakenly referred to Tengku Panglima Raja Tengku Amir Nasser Ibrahim Shah as a ‘driver.’

The amusing incident was captured on Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah’s Instagram story, the Regent and Crown Prince of Pahang.

In the video, a man dressed in traditional Iban attire approached the car carrying Tengku Hassanal and Tengku Amir, eager to take a selfie with Tengku Hassanal.

Tengku Hassanal, who was seated on the left side of the car, couldn’t help but ask the man what he had called him. The man’s response, “Tengku Handsome,” elicited laughter. However, as the car was moving slowly, the man continued, saying, “Op Op, driver stop (requesting Tengku Amir to stop). Break, Break, Sekejap’ (wait a moment).”

Amused by the situation, Tengku Hassanal joined in the humour, echoing the words “driver, stop.” With smiles all around, the man successfully took the selfie and walked away from the car, leaving everyone in good spirits.
