KAPIT: Kapit Chinese Women Association (Kapit CWA) and Veteran Section of Kapit Foochow Association visited Kapit Community Based Rehabilitation Centre (PDK Kapit) at Taman Cham Ung Hwa, Jalan Bletih here to distribute “angpows” and Mandarin oranges to the children with special needs.

Bukit Goram state assemblyman Jefferson Jamit Unyat joined the association members in bringing Chinese New Year cheer to the residents and their parents.

In his speech at the event, Jamit praised the management committee under the dynamic leadership of Moonly Tiang for managing the PDK very efficiently.

“I observe many new features are being added to enhance the facilities. I will continue to support your fine effort in my capacity as the “elected people’s representative,” he added.

Later, he handed out the “angpows” and Mandarin oranges to the residents and joined them for the high tea.
