KUCHING: Ho Hin Motors Sdn Bhd celebrated its 48th anniversary at its new building in Jalan Pending here.
The company also welcomed a new service centre on Thursday (June 23).
A statement said among the attendees were Hong Leong Industries Berhad group managing director Datuk Dr Jim Khor, Hong Leong Yamaha director Taketoshi Takabayashi, Hong Leong Yamaha Motor 3s general manager Goh Wei Ping, Hong Leong Motor marketing and META general manager Hoo Wan Tim, Ho Hin Motors managing director Tay Ong Ngo and Ho Hin Motors director Jenny Hong.
Ho Hin Motors Sdn Bhd is Yamaha’s representative in East Malaysia.
“The founding of Ho Hin Motors Sdn Bhd and the opening of its flagship store took place 48 years ago on this day.
“Chairman Zheng Yan Fang founded Ho Hin Motors in 1974. For 43 years, it has been a Yamaha motorcycle dealer and has received the Yamaha Top 50 Dealer Award each year.”
The service centre sells a variety of new and pre-owned Yamaha motorcycle models as well as original parts making it essentially a one-stop service centre.
“The machinery used in the service centre complies with the strictest requirements laid out by the manufacturer.
“The centre has among others, showrooms, customer service desks and maintenance areas.
“While waiting for their machines to be serviced by a staff of experts, customers can relax in comfort with a beverage in the waiting area.”
