KUCHING: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg still looked fresh and energetic inspite of coping with his busy schedules yesterday.

Among others, he had to attend meetings, briefings and presentations as well as receiving a number of courtesy calls.

Earlier in the day, he had a meeting with a delegation from the British High Commission in Kuala Lumpur led by the commission’s prosperity team economic development counsellor head Kebur Azbaha.

Later in the afternoon, the Chief Minister received a series of other courtesy calls.

The visits included by a delegation from the Education Service Commission Malaysia (SPPM) led by its chairman Tan Sri Dr Khair Mohamad Yusof and Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) management officials.

The Unimas delegation was led by its vice chancellor Prof. Datuk Dr Mohamad Kadim Suaidi.

The purpose of the visit by the Unimas management officials was to brief him about the progress of their research based on Nipah and Sago to produce products that can be commersialised.

Also present during the visit was Prof Dr Kopli Bujang, leader of the research team and other research members.
