MIRI: A door-to-door anti-rabies vaccination programme which is currently ongoing in this district until November 19, has been receiving a positive response from the public.

Piasau assemblyman Datuk Sebastian Ting lauded the vaccination programme and described it as a continuous effort by the state government to control and eliminate rabies in this district.

“It is a concerted effort,” he said yesterday during the programme at Jalan Acorus 7, Taman Delight here.

Yesterday, a total of 36 personnel, led by Miri Division veterinary officer Dr Sylmie Al-Harir, were divided into 12 teams and despatched into various residential areas here.
