KUCHING: The general public are advised not to panic if the rabies operation team came knocking from house to house during the “Anti-Rabies Vaccination Programme” to be held from April 22 in Zone A of the Kuching District.
The operation covering Santubong, Semariang, Demak Laut and Petra Jaya will begin at 2pm till 5pm.
The programme conducted by the state Department of Veterinary Services (DVS) is another approach to provide anti-rabies vaccination for pets of the general public.
For those in the industrial areas, the team will conduct the operation at the guard posts.
Therefore, members of the publics are urged to take this opportunity provided by the team to vaccinate their pets.
The programme will be conducted around the areas under the jurisdictions of Kuching North City Hall (DBKU) and Kuching South City Council (MBKS) in phases starting tomorrow until May 2.
The operation would be the third stage of the anti-rabies operation in the district.
