KUALA LUMPUR: PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and his wife Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail have left Istana Negara here after an audience with Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah this afternoon.
The car carrying Anwar and Dr Wan Azizah, who is Deputy Prime Minister, was seen leaving Istana Negara at 3.15 pm.
Anwar and Dr Wan Azizah, who arrived separately, spent about 40 minutes at Istana Negara.
They had gone to the palace from the PKR headquarters in Petaling Jaya where they had attended a special meeting of the party. – Bernama
