KUCHING: Newly appointed Co-operative Institute of Malaysia (CIM) chairman Datuk Dr Raduan Che Rose was tapped to initiate reforms at the institute.
Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar said Dr Raduan’s appointment was also based on his credentials and vast experience.
“I am confident that CIM under his leadership will be able to implement the agendas to help the government in carrying out reforms as planned,” he said in a Facebook posting last Wednesday.
Earlier on, Dr Raduan paid a courtesy call to Wan Junaidi at his office at the Ministry.
“I have high hopes and confidence in him implement reforms at CIM in line with the Ministry’s planning as well as propel the cooperatives industry to stimulate the nation’s economy to a higher level,” the minister said.
