BINTULU: A total of 15 past committee members of the Sarawak United National Youth Organisation (SABERKAS) Kakus branch were awarded with certificate of appreciation as recognition of their contributions.
All certificates were presented by SABERKAS Kakus branch chairman Mohd Rizal Julaihi on Sunday night during a dinner gathering.
Also present were Penghulu Lim Thcia Hong and SABERKAS Tatau advisor Tan Kheng Soon.
Mohd Rizal in his opening remarks reminded younger members of SABERKAS Kakus branch to always respect their past members ,besides creating bonds with one another.
“Learn from past members so that we could do better now on the challenges at hand,” he said.
Some 40 members attended the appreciation dinner gathering which was held at a leading hotel here.
