KUCHING: Malaysian Armed Forces chief Gen Tan Sri Datuk Seri Affendi Buang and wife Tengku Puteri Seri Teja Tengku Muhaini Al-Marhum Sultan Ahmad Shah attended a breaking of fast event with Eastern Field Command personnel at Masjid Solehuddin Al-Ayubi, Camp Penrissen here, on Sunday (April 17).
They were received by Army chief Gen Tan Sri Datuk Seri Zamrose Mohd Zain and wife Datin Seri Zainuriah Mustafa, and Eastern Field Command commander Lt-Gen Datuk Mardzuki Mohammad and wife Datin Sdafra’ Ahmad.
Gen Affendi and wife later joined maghrib, isyak and tarawih prayers with the others. They also distributed donations to the wives and children of chronic patients, and special needs children.
Ramadan donations were also given to 50 soldiers. Present at the ceremony also was 1st Infantry Division commander Maj-Gen Datuk Dzulkafli Mustaffa.
