BAU: The army foiled two illegal entry attempts into Sarawak by 22 immigrants at separate locations yesterday.

Later, around 9.15pm, the army detained another 14 immigrants at an illegal route in Kampung Stass, about 100m from the border.

Inspections found that the 14 men and eight women immigrants did not possess any valid cross-border documents.

The army is committed to maintaining national security and ensuring the preservation of national sovereignty by preventing any kind of cross-border crime from occurring.
