MIRI: Pustaka Negeri Sarawak, Miri and local artists including Mary Anne Vaz are holding a one-month art exhibition and sale themed ‘Joy of Painting’.
The exhibition located at the lobby begins today (December 5) and will end January 7 next year.
As one of the most frequently held programmes at Pustaka Miri, the exhibition will be held from 10am to 7pm.
The exhibition showcases beautiful and interesting works produced by more than 40 young artistes as well as Mary Anne Vaz’s very own collection.
The paintings will be put on sale and interested buyers can contact the artistes directly.
From every purchase of the painting, RM10 will be donated to the Storybook Project for the Penan community at Long Latie’, Apoh, Baram.
