Art exhibition, workshop by Vincent Low 8 and 9 July

KUCHING: An art exhibition and workshop by Professional Artist and Illustrator, Vincent Low will be held from 8 to 9 July.

Held at the Pustaka Negeri Sarawak, the two day event will feature a talk on the first day.

On the second day, close up and personal sharing session with parents of children with dyslexia and other learning disabilities will also be held.

The workshop will also be held on the second day from 9.00am to 11.00am. 

Participants can register with a fee of RM20.00 and are also required to bring their own drawing papers and 2B pencils. 

Vincent’s works have previously been featured in various mass media such as The Star (Malaysia), The Daily Main (UK) and The Huffington Post (US). 

He was mainly sought by the media due to his pencil style drawing. 

When Vincent was younger, he failed most of his subjects, punished by his teachers and bullied by his schoolmates.

It is due to this that he got involved with many negative environments such as smoking and was also part of a gang. 

Only much later that he discovered his talents of drawing when his parents signed him up to undertake a course that was based on Advertising and Drawing.
