KUCHING: The Sarawak State Library (Pustaka) is organising a Science, Technology, Engineering, And Mathematics (Stem) activity called ‘Artificial Gravity’ under the Pustaka’s Young Explorer programme.

The activity will be broadcast tomoroow (August 16) at 2pm on Pustaka’s official YouTube channel and Facebook page.

“Artificial gravity isn’t just science fiction. It breaks free from science fiction and tells scientists how artificial gravity is created using centripetal force,” said Pustaka.

They explained that centripetal force directed towards the centre of the turn is required for any object to move in a circular path.

“Be a Pustaka’s Explorer at home and explore Science and Technology with your family with simple experiment tools that you can easily obtain at home,” they said.
