KUCHING: Juh Nangga Bola, a relaxing programme was held Tuesday night (Dec 6) allowing locals in the Satok area to watch the FIFA World Cup.

Satok assemblyman Datuk Ibrahim Baki, who attended the event at Kompleks Sukan Satok Padang SLPAS to watch the last 16 match between Spain and Morocco, stated that the programme was to fulfil the request by youths in the Satok constituency.

“The programme was hosted by Irwan Zulkarnain Hasbi, chairman of Satok Sports Club Community, and it is a good opportunity to be among the youth while also bringing the community together.

“This is the first time we have such a programme, and it coincides with the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) winning the 15th general election (GE15).

“Furthermore, we are also grateful because this is the first time a minister from Sarawak is appointed as a deputy prime minister,” he said.

When asked by reporters which team he will be supporting in the world cup, he said that it’ll either be Brazil or France.
