BALINGIAN: Police manning a roadblock enforcing the control movement order (MCO) at the junction of Jalan Matading here received a surprise when Balingian assemblyman Abdul Yakub Arbi visited them.
Not only that, he contributed food and canned drinks to them while telling them that he appreciated what they were doing.
Abdul Yakub also wished them ‘Happy 213th Police Day’ yesterday.
He hoped that the people here and elsewhere in Sarawak would adhere to the MCO for the benefit of all.
Abdul Yakub was accompanied by Mukah Division Resident Hamdiah Bakir, Mukah District Officer Shafrie Saili and Dalat-Mukah District Council deputy walikota Jay Keram.
