KUCHING: Assistant Welfare and Community Wellbeing Minister Datuk Francis Harden Hollis on Tuesday (March 2) visited the Covid-19 Low Risk Quarantine and Treatment Centre (PKRC) at Sarawak State Sports Corporation Indoor Stadium in Sri Aman.

The visit was to get updates on the operation of the centre aside from bringing food and drinks, and water dispensers to frontliners and patients at the PKRC.

Harden, who is also Sri Aman Disaster Management Committee advisor, thanked the stadium management for allowing the use of the stadium as a quarantine centre.

He also urged people to take the opportunity to register themselves for vaccination.

Earlier, he was given a briefing by Sri Aman Hospital director Dr Hazwani Mohd Yusof and a representative from the Sri Aman Division Health Department, Dr Gwendolen Luciana Sylvester Gurang, on the situation at the PRKC.

Accompanying Harden was Sri Aman Resident, who is also the Sri Aman Disaster Management Committee chairman, Indit Bangai.
