KUCHING: Nicholas Hu is the new president of Sibu Sacred Heart (SHS) Secondary School Alumni Association of Kuching.
He was previously the deputy president.
The appointment of the new committee members was made during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the association here on Monday night.
Thadeus Ling was appointed as the deputy president.
Peter Kong is the new secretary, Chua Chee Kiong assistant secretary, Wong Sung Seng treasurer, Wong Chii Huo assistant treasurer, Alexius Barieng public relations officer and Albinus Bundan assistant public relations officer.
The new committee members are Leslie Tsai, Rick Teo, Leslie Ting and Teo Yao.
Hu said the AGM went smoothly and that the association discussed its activities for last year and this year.
“One of them will be our 32nd annual alumni association dinner which will be held at KTS Garden on October 4 from 6.30pm,” he added.
Meanwhile, past president Moses Wong thanked the members for their hard work and support for the last two years.
Currently, the association has 289 members.
