KUCHING: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg received a courtesy call from Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) at his office in Wisma Bapa Malaysia on Tuesday (Apr 11).
The courtesy visit was led by MAG Airline Business chief executive officer (CEO) Ahmad Luqman Mohd Azmi.
Ahmad Luqman said the purpose of the courtesy visit was to introduce himself to the Premier on his new role.
“I also brought along our new team members who are responsible for MASWings and Firefly to meet the Premier.
“Apart from that, there were also briefings and planning, especially for Sarawak,” he said when met by reporters after the courtesy visit. Also present were MASwings chief operating officer (COO) Suresh Singam, Firefly COO Captain Hamdan Che Ismail and Government Relations senior manager Nita Malek.
