KUCHING: Road users are reminded to follow all traffic rules and avoid drink driving during the Gawai Dayak festive season.
The message came from Padawan district police chief Supt Aidil Bolhassan in his Hari Gawai message to road users today.
“To all road users, please be extra cautious when driving during Gawai and do not drive under the influence of alcohol,” he said.
He also advised the Dayak to celebrate Gawai moderately and comply with the standard operating procedures (SOPs) under the conditional movement control order (CMCO).
“Such measures must be adhered to so that we can curb the spread of Covid-19 infection,” he added.
