MIRI: Several roads in the city centre are undergoing surface repairs from May 8 to 21.
The Miri City Council (MCC) said the affected roads are Jalan Merbau, Jalan North, Yu Seng, and Jalan Sri Dagang.
“Please comply with the safety signs provided and follow the flagmen’s instructions to facilitate traffic movement,” said the council, in a statement today.
Road users are also urged to be cautious and slow down their vehicles while passing through these roads during the maintenance period, and comply with all traffic rules for safety.
“Road users are also advised to use alternative routes until the maintenance works are completed,” the council said.
MCC will announce any changes to the maintenance work dates from time to time.
