KUCHING: Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan received a courtesy call from a Brunei delegation led by its Second Minister of Finance and Economy Datuk Seri Setia Dr Awang Mohd Amin Liew Abdullah at his office in Wisma Bapa Malaysia in Petra Jaya here, on Wednesday.

During the visit, Awang Mohd Amin who was accompanied by Brunei Second Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Datuk Erywan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Mohd Yusof were briefed on business and investment opportunities in Sarawak. They were also briefed on the new road alignment from the Brunei border to the proposed Limbang Bridge.

Potential collaborations in agriculture and livestock, as well as telecommunication and energy supply were also among the topics that were discussed. Also present during the courtesy call were International Trade and Industry, Industrial Terminal and Entrepreneur Development Assistant Ministers Datuk Mohd Naroden Majais and Malcolm Mussen Lamoh.
