KUCHING: The Greater Angkatan Zaman Mansang (AZAM) Sarawak Raya Gathering 2024 serves as the platform to strengthen bonds, share experiences and build lasting connections with one another.
Tts chairman Datuk William Patrick Nyigor said gatherings such as this are important for the members to get to know each other better, and to renew networking among themselves.
“Let us reaffirm our commitment to nurturing harmony, understanding, and inclusivity within our greater AZAM family.
“Regardless of differences in background, culture, or beliefs, let us appreciate the bonds that unite us and celebrate the diversity that enriches our lives,” he said in his speech during the gathering held at Dewan Mahligai Kuching here yesterday (May 4).
Following this, he pointed out that Greater AZAM is not just a combination of various organisations but is a community that brings together diverse talents and expertise to achieve common goals.
“The strength of our community lies in the unity and collaboration of its members.
“Together, let us strive to build a society where every individual is valued, respected, and given the opportunity to reach their full potential,” he said.
For the record, the said gathering was attended by 150 guests from AZAM and Sarawak Development Institute (SDI) members; AZAM Young Souls (AYS), AZAM Toastmasters Club; and others.
