Bah Arnab Cluster ends

KUCHING: Bah Arnab Cluster here officially ended on Sunday (Nov 15) after no new Covid-19 cases were reported within 28 days from the last detected case.

The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) said 72 people had been screened in the cluster.

Of the total, 12 were reported to be positive including the index case.

“This makes the positive case rate for this cluster 16.67 percent. All cases in this cluster have recovered and have been discharged from the hospital.

“No deaths were reported in this cluster,” it said in a statement.

The case index for the cluster was Case 719 reported on Oct 6. The case had a travel history to Sabah.

With one cluster down, Sarawak still has five active clusters currently — Jalan Abell, Baki, Greenhill, Wisma Saberkas and Seladah.

Kuching is still a red zone with 124 local infections reported in the last 14 days. Meanwhile, Miri, Lundu and Lawas are yellow zones.
