A frequent angler who only wants to be known as Francis said the fishing season for lobster is currently on and Balingian River is a suitable destination.

He added that lobsters caught here have a distinctive taste compared to those found in other places.

“This is due to the clean river water which is free from contamination,” he said.

Francis added that the price for seafood (prawn) here is cheaper compared to other towns, selling between RM30 to RM60 per kilogramme which come in various sizes.
