Abdul Yakub Arbi speaks at the august House.

Abdul Yakub Arbi (GPS – Balingian) has proposed a Village Commercial Centre (VCC) to be built in Kampung Sesok, Kampung Teh, Kampung Seberang, Kampung Sau, Kampung Penakub Ulu, Kampung Jebungan and Kampung Seberang which consist of areas such as Tutus Ulu, Sungai Alo, Kampung Litong, Kampung Bunut and Kampung Tanjung.

In his august House speech, he pointed out that this will encourage small entrepreneurs residing in the area.
“During the previous state legislative assembly (DUN) meeting, proposals to build Jalan Pelata Kuala Balingian to Liok and Jalan Persekutuan from Balingian to Sungai Anak and Pan Borneo were considered by the ministry.

“I also would like to urge that the proposals sent to be approved as soon as possible. I would also mention when will the  Jalan Tellian By-Pass and the Second Bridge of Batang Mukah be built,” he questioned the august House.

Touching on the issues of unapproved bridges and roads, he also urged that the road along  Kampung Teh to Kampung Kelapa Baru, Mukah to go through immediate approval and implemented as soon as possible.
