KUCHING: Needy pupils from SK Lumba Kuda and SK St Thomas were given new sets of school uniforms by Democratic Action Party (DAP) Bandar Kuching here.
Bandar Kuching MP Dr Kelvin Yii said that the contributions were under its Bandar Kuching Back to School programme.
“We continue to send new uniforms and shoes to pupils in need.
“We have worked with each school to identify such pupils, then we purchase two sets of uniforms and shoes for them,” he said on Monday (April 18).
“Apart from that, we also helped SK St Thomas purchase some sports equipment for the benefit of its pupils to promote a healthy lifestyle.”
