Bandar Kuching MP gives financial aid to dialysis patients

KUCHING: The office of the Bandar Kuching MP distributed financial aid to dialysis patients on last Tuesday.

According to Bandar Kuching MP Dr Kelvin Yii, each dialysis patient received RM1,500.

“It may not be much but we hope it can help alleviate some of the medical and daily expenses that the families have to bear,” he said in a social media post.

He called for his constituents undergoing dialysis to not hesitate to contact his office and apply for the aid.

“We may not have much but we will try to do as much as we can.”

In a separate post, he expressed his deepest condolences to the family of the late Dr Chen Man Hin.

Chen, who was one of the Democratic Action Party (DAP) founding members, passed away early this morning.

“I am sad to learn of the passing of a fine Malaysian and one of DAP’s founding members. He was a humble man, soft spoken but firm in his principles.”
