MUKAH: Works Minister Baru Bian is expected to officially open Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Mukah Branch office this coming Dec 20. It is located at Sub-lot No 3, Block E, Lot 613 Block 76 of the Mukah Bio-Tech Economic Zone which is about 150m from the Mukah New Administrative Centre or Recorda Building.
This was disclosed by its branch head and state PKR deputy chairman Abdul Jalil Bujang at a press conference held here, yesterday. “It is going to be his first official visit to Mukah since his appointment as the Works Minister,” he said, adding that an attendance of 500 is expected at the event.
He added that Baru, who is also state PKR chairman, will be present at a meet-the-people session where he would be meeting with relevant government officers to discuss various projects that are being and will be implemented in Mukah. “After the function in Mukah, the minister will proceed to a longhouse in Ulu Baoh for another event there,” he said. The branch currently has over 1,000 registered members and is expected to increase even more.
