KUCHING: Bung Bratak Heritage Centre is keen in promoting ‘Sunrise at Bung Bratak’ as one of its main attractions.
This was said by Bung Bratak Heritage Association chairman Datuk Peter Minos in a statement yesterday.
According to Minos, many have said that the sunrise view was the ‘best’ they had seen.
“A group from the Chinese papers recently visited and camped at Bung Bratak. One of them described the sunrise from this Bidayuh ancient settlement as ‘The Best’.
“Looking at the photos, I certainly agree,” he said.
Minos also described the ‘Sunrise at Bung Bratak’ phenomenon as a great escape from the hassle and bustle and is a stress-releasing moment.
“Imagine yourself at a hilltop of a historical centre at 6 in the morning and enjoying the beautiful sunrise sight with the fresh air, the sound of birds and insects around.
“You are back to nature and get refreshed for one hour. It will give your body and soul a good break which it deserves. Kick the stress out,” he said.
Minos added that a long jungle trek to Bung Bratak waterfall and now the best sunrise can make life a bit better and refreshing at Bung Bratak.
“Nature gives these best things for free. So, why not enjoy them and live long as were and are typical of the people of Bung Bratak,” he said.
