Be professional in discharging duties, traffic policemen told

BINTULU: Traffic police personnel were told to be always professional while discharging their duty.

This includes refraining from engaging in corrupt and criminal practices.

State Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department chief Supt Alexson Naga Chabu said this when addressing participants of a traffic basic course series 1/2019 in Bintulu yesterday.

He added, traffic personnel must uphold the values of trustworthiness in discharging their duty.

Officers attending the course were told to adhere to the organisational values and principles which are against corruption.

The three-day traffic course was held since Feb 25 in Bintulu BDA library auditorium here.

A total of 54 traffic officers Statewide took part in the course.

It exposed participants to basic knowledge of their roles and responsibilities.
