KUCHING: Malaysians are urged to bear with the movement control order (MCO) which has been extended for another two weeks..
Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah said, ”It might be inconvenient, but we will glide through it and become better,” he said when contacted yesterday.
Abdul Karim believed the federal government had deliberated every aspect of the MCO’s extension before arriving at the decision.
“As much as it is going to disturb our normal life, I believe that is the best option now until we are able to address this spread of the virus and break its chain (of infection),” he said.
The Asajaya assemblyman urged the people to make full use of their newfound free time at their own homes.
“Spend the extra two weeks building up family bonding, resting, gardening or anything worthwhile,” he added.
