KUCHING: A terminally ill man in Siburan near here has received aid from Hope Place Kuching.

Jacky George, 51, lives with his wife and their four children in Kampung Bunau and is bedridden after suffering from a near fatal stroke in February this year.

“Hope Place went to his home and found out he could not move at all, sadly he cannot even recognise any of his loved ones

“Now, he is under tube feeding and needs constant care from his family,” Hope Place said in a statement on Thursday (Nov 11).

Jacky, who used to be a lorry assistance, was earning a sufficient salary and was able to live a lower middle income life with his family.

“His wife is currently working at the autism centre but is thinking of quitting to fully care for his husband.

“Two of his children are working, but they do not have a stable income and the other two of his children are taking care of him at home,” it added.
