Bermukun and Bertandak contests attract 4,000 people

MUKAH: Four thousand people witnessed the Bermukun and Bertandak contests held at Mukah Old Market here recently.

Held to mark the 15th year of Mukah been elevated to a division, the contests were officiated by Tellian assemblyman, Yussibnosh Balo who also presented prizes to the winners.

Also present to witness the contests and prize-giving  were political secretaries to Chief Minister of Sarawak Kennel Jeraiee and Faridah Osman, Deputy Mukah Resident Jack Aman, Temenggong Hendi Suhai and Pemanca Mohammad Jali.
